Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Just thought this was kinda funny. My family was at the state capital building yesterday. I turned around from taking a picture of the building and saw this - my brother is SUCH a mini-me of my step-dad. lol

The other pics from the state capital buildling (Michigan) can be found here, if you're interested.

lol. nice one.

I think a tighter crop would have worked better. As it is, the two subjects in the photo get lost, as they are not that "Big" in comparison to the rest. And most of the photo other than the two subjects is not that interesting.

Oh, I know. I was far away. I was using my 18-55mm lens and it was zoomed all the way in. I just thought it was funny. =) Thanks for the input, though. I might mess with the crop a little when I get home. I'm sure my mom would get a kick out of it if I framed it for her for Christmas.

Ok, does this look any better?? I just had the intentions of leaving this as a snapshot but now you guys have me wanting to try harder on it. lol

My only issue with cropping any more is that I don't want to lose the other trees in the photo...which I will, if I keep the same aspect ratio. Hmm...I'll play around with it some more.

Ok, if I change up the aspect ratio a bit so that it's the right ratio for an 8x10 (so I can print it for my mom for Christmas), I can get a crop like this...better?? It gets rid of some the dead space above their heads while keeping the tree on the left (I didn't like the way it looked without the tree).

I think they're too far in the corner now.

your crop was fine sammy lou. better then the original bc now the father/son are the focus of the picture. Dont worry about losing a bit of the nature. People are more interesting then trees or bushes.
