I would not call it abstract I would call it out of focus.

I see where you're going and it could be really interesting, but for it to work in an abstract way I think it needs to be even more out of focus and the spots need to be removed from the foreground.

Thanks Ken, I'll keep that in mind on future attempts. This was a first for me and I actually found it to create a interesting effect.
