Lion Cub

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww ... what a cutie.

Can you bring the eyes out some? Not A great deal, just enough so they aren't so shadowed and the yellow color begins to show. I'm not sure it would be an improvement but I think it would.

That's a great idea actually, I'll give it a shot - have to do a little more post processing and see what I can come up with. Funny thing about post processing, your always walking that fine line between "enhance" and "cartoon mode".. lol

I agree. That's why I said I'm not sure it would work. When people look at a photograph of an animal one of the first things they notice is the eyes. If the eyes work it really enhances the photograph, if they don't work it really detracts from the photograph. Cats have gorgeous eyes and bringing them out really helps in my opinion, but it is easy to go to far and make them look over-processed. I frequently "Try Things" with the eyes and if they don't work it's nothing lost except for a little bit of time.

To be honest, I am a complete cat (and animal) person. I just want to give that kitty a hug. Not sure he or she would share in my excitement. Nice capture, looking forward to seeing how the edits come out.
