Little Colorado 1

There are such vistas and peaks in Colorado that I usually don't post the "little" views. I am going to post a few of a little more intimate views of Colorado. Please let me know any ways to improve these. Here is one scene that caught my eye just hiking in Pondersoa Pine/Aspen woods west of Colorado Springs. I tried to capture some of the look of a warm October afternoon sun on the aspens and rocks. Being from the east (SC), the openess and park like quality of the woods here is a constant joy.

You caught it all so well. The vivid blue sky, the outcropping of rocks and I love aspen trees......[sigh] they remind me of being in the Grand Canyon.

This is a nice composition, too. I feel like I could walk right into the picture.

I like your idea of the "little views". Keep 'em coming!

The picture is definitely real, however I must admit I find myself wandering all over the picture. Perhaps a slightly different angle.

The lighting and colors are excellent.
