A+ for creative portrait idea. This is one of those shots that displays better big. I prefer the tighter crop of the first, except for the cropped appendages. The 2nd has a little more room to crop.

In the upper picture, I would have had her pull her feet back "under" her a bit, emphasizing the upper body and face.
