Little Miami Lit Falls

I finally got up early enough to get some good light and headed out to a local state park for some river photography. I hadn't ever been there before so I wasn't sure what opportunities I would have but after an hour and a half of trekking through the overgrown trails, the mosquitoes, and about five hundred spider webs on my face, my enthusiasm faded fast. I did however catch this one image of a ray of sunlight breaking through the clouds and illuminating a small water fall down river that I was particularly happy about. I myself am partial to B&W so naturally I thought it did the image more justice.

An nice scene, but the "subject" of the falls is too small.
I might crop it closer by losing the sides and some of the bottom.
A small amount of vignette might help give the falls more prominence.
