Live Golden Statue

This shot was taken in Bogota downtown last December. If you walk around that area you don't need to be lucky in order to find some young men wearing picturesque clothings and totally immobile. When a kid drops a coin in a box they have placed at their feet they perform slowly movements for a while before they stop again waiting for the next coin to come.

nice!! when i went to italy they had some around there, and if you can make them laugh, they give YOU money. not much though, and its near impossible to do so!!

I remember seeing a lot of these people when I visited Barcelona, Spain. And they were all dressed up differently. I eventually gave money to one, and it waved to me or something. I was with friends in Barcelona at the time so we all found it pretty funny .

This is a nice, soft picture of the living statue. I saw a silver statue of the kind, only funnier in his act (less meaning to seem like a puppet, more like a robot), in Cologne in front of the cathedral.
