From the NH White Mountains last weekend. Comments/criticisms welcome. It was so breathtakingly beautiful that none of my photos can do it justice but I did have a few that I wanted to share.

Great photo of scar ridge! Is #4 from the summit of Cannon? NH native myself, grew up in Meredith and living in Plymouth now.

Thanks! Yes, the top of Cannon, or almost the top - It's from the Vista trail that leads from the tram to the observation deck. There's a big flat rock that you can climb up on to get above the tree line.

We drove through Meredith on the way home and the color there was gorgeous. The mountains were about a week-10 days past peak last weekend I think (most of the red was gone) but the lakes region was in full color.

Those photos look great! I never think to go up Cannon, always just drive past on the way up to other mountains. The color around the lakes is looking great now, lots of yellows and rust colors, but the rain and wind really hurt things
