Hey all,

I'm jumping into sports photography, shooting horse shows.

And I'm wondering how people use the net to sell their stuff to clients who've been photographed without giving away what they're trying to sell?

I don't know how many of you all have done little league games, etc, but back in the day I tried it and made some change selling photographs to parents of junior athletes.

Nowadays, they seem to want things a bit faster than I was used to back then. I shot Kodachrome and it took a few days to get back.

Now I'll be shooting print film and getting it scanned. I'm not able to afford a dark room, anyway, and even if I were, I'd probably go to a good digital.

So, how do y'all accomplish local marketting? Any suggestions would be good.

well, im no pro at marketing, but i would make really good friends with the coaches or organizers of the event ... get the word out ... and take some cards along ... make yourself a familiar face and people will start to take notice of what u do :)

I have an "in" in my chosen sport field (Equestrian). I'm Stablemaster at a small barn, and know quite a few of the barn owners in the area.

My main concern is delievery... should I just do it the old fashioned way?
