London Meetup - The Revenge Of the Lens Thread

Ummmm, they're coming (So's Christmas, right?) I hope to get some posted later today. But I've gotta warn ya, they're just snaps compared to everyone else's shots.

You think so, Daan?
Should I post some more then?
For I still have some (oh hang on, change that to "many") more in store, really.

Well, if you say so ....

..playing in photoshop today !!

Using LaFoto's beautiful picture posted earlier of the refelections in the rain in Picadilly... which was SO much more artistic than my shot ...

LaFoto's :
corinnasmini.jpg
love it...

And my own not so artistic shot of the lights :

notesmini.jpg
which is ok but not exactly thrilling...

Through the power of teamwork .. and the magic of photoshop ...
you get this ...

Thanks to LaFoto for letting me play with her pics...

Hope you Like !

Cool work there, Jerry. Wow.
The turn-around pic of the person making a drawing of that model there is ... heeehee, the whole thing turned around. I like that idea so much.

And hey, now my reflection finally looks complete :D.
Though - if you wanted to be totally nitpicky - you could always say that the reflection shows that the lights were not white at the very bottom when I took the reflection shot but are white in your upper version. But who would want to be THAT nitpicky, right? No one. It would not even occur to anybody. Would it? So there.... what have I said again?

I like!!!!

Sheesh, everyone's a critic.
:(

"Those who can..do. Those who can't.. criticise."

MuHaHaaaHaaa !

You are not all SERIOUSLY into the :( mood now, are you? I do like the fact that you put one of mine and one of your photos together! Honestly.

I might post some more for you all to criticise ...

Although these fish-eye pics were taken just for fun and to have one last play with Andy's fisheye lens:

Nothing would suggest this was a photographer's meet-up, would it??? No-ho-hooooooooooooooo! How ever would we guess!

Ah, but here is a detail of that very Andy-the-fisheye-lens-owner-and-totally-lost-prophet's summer home:

And another detail:

And its reflection:

Not bad, eh?
Hard to heat in the wintertime, I guess, but whoever owns this as their summer home won't go there in winter, would they? ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
