Long exposures of waves for CC

Hi all

Just joined the forum, being pretty new to digital photography for anything other than family snapshots. I was given my first DSLR, a Canon 1000D with the 18-55 IS lens, last month.

I would be very grateful for any constructive criticism of these long exposures of waves just after sunset. They were fun to take, but I feel a lot more could have been achieved with the colours and sharpness of the horizon (and you'll hopefully find plenty of other things to criticise!)
