Very nice image, beautiful bird. We have a sandhill crane sanctuary by my home. Some 2000 migrate here (from Florida) every spring. They're starting to fly in. They're living dinosaurs.. Some Sandhill Crane facts...

Thank you. I didn't know that their bones have dated back to 9 million years and that they're the worlds oldest species of bird. I also didn't know that they were a problem for farmers and be that as it may, I can't see the killing of these kind of birds.
