Took this picture and edited it with one of the faking HDR with a j-peg tutorials. Any thoughts?

very difficult to make it out and hurts the eyes because of the colour

I think you just should've kept it as a picture and not done anything to it. This isn't the kind-of picture you want to do HDR to. You might want to try something like a landscape or a statue or a cityscape or something to that effect.

Personally, I really like the effect. It's creative and not "just another photo".
