Thanks sscarmack. The color of this dragonfly wasn't too special or attractive (atleast for my taste) so I decided to try some b&w. I might have another go at the color version though.

Just my opinion though.

I'm gunna go ahead and be the first to disagree and say this is much better in Black and White though it could possibly be in need of some highlight or midtone adjustment (its hard to say for sure on my monitor)

I think the black and white makes forces the viewer to focus solely on the form and texture of the eyes where as color would just be a random extra distraction from that.
