Looking at a Lens.. wondering your thoughts

Hey all.. I was searching around on craigslist and happened across a nice lens, well, I think its a nice lens.. wondering your thoughts on it, and the price of it.

Its the Sigma 10-20mm 1:4-5.6 G DC HSM and they are asking $300 (canadian)

I can tell you that its a great lens. got it back in february. one of my most used lenses. go for it. make sure its not a scam again I got it new for about $500 USD. I also noticed it has a greater dynamic range then my other lenses.

i know its not a fisheye, but its going to be great for skate photography.. the thing I love about the fisheye is the 10mm but the thing I hate about it, is the bubble effect.. so this is going to give me what I want!

the only "effect" you get with this lens is that lets say you are taking a shot of a city scape, the building on the l;eft and right will be tilted towards the middle.

Get IT!!!!! then trade me for my tokina 12-24... it has less distortion...

its on my list as well, but its hard to decide between it, the tokina 12-24, and the tokina 11-16. so many choices...

your not kidding... since photography is a side business for me, the money I make at it is typically my "play money" but latley, I've always had to use it for bills, because I don't make a huge amount of money in my day job..

I'm shooting another wedding in a couple weeks, and the B&G just gave me some of the pay for it (I do 1/3 at booking, 1/3 at engagement shots, and 1/3 on the day) but they wanted to pay me the other day when we had our final meeting... this is the first pay from photography I've gotten in a while that wasn't spent before I got it.. so I think I'll use it to get the 10-20

Neither lens is a "fish-eye" lens. They are ultra-wideangle.

no one was saying it is a fisheye.. I was saying that, I do a lot of skate photography, but I hate the bubble look of real fisheye lens.. I prefer to just have the ultra wide, so I can still get really close to get the shot.. so I think this lens is what I need... If I want the bubble look, I can just PP it in the shot (not that I'd want it)
