What happened to the background? Is that your lens's natural bokeh? It's a bit ... ugh. Strange. Hard to look at.

The animal and its expression are great! I really like the sharpness of the animal, not sure I personally care for whatever happened to the background. Although it does focus the eye on the main subject, the background is a little distracting for me.

I wouldn't want to see him in a dark alley. Shoot now that I think about it I wouldn't want to see him in a light alley either.
