Looking for a critique

Hello, I think depth of field is too shallow. Ah well. I am using Photoshop elements 7 and did a little bit of touch-ups. What do you think? Please be gentle.

You will definitely need more DOF, and a little composition work wouldn't hurt.

DOF is definitely too shallow if you want the whole thing in focus. The flash is causing harsh shadows and even harsher specular highlights and I'm guessing washing the colors out a bit.

Oh well. It needs some work. I do see the shadows now. But the colors, it's right on the money. That's what it looks like. Thank you!
