Looking for end mounting 3x telephoto

I have used the sony, nikon E3ED and some raynox 2.2x end mounting telephoto attachments, but the raynox 7700 has a lens of only 5/8 wide, which will surely cause vignetting on my camera as my sony has a 1" wide lens and barely gets past that. I've seen some cheap brand 3x tele's that has a very wide lens, but they are terrible quality causing extensive purple fringing. What models are available for me? Looking for 3x and more than 1" width of lens.
