I bought this without realizing id need to buy a lens. So yea I am definitely a beginner. I just would like to spend around $200 or $250 max. Just trying to make youtube music videos for like kids music so nothing crazy. What would you guys recommend? I dont plan on doing many close ups on faces if that matters more body shots I think. I think image stabilization would be good so I dont have to always use a tripod? What do you guys think? Thanks.

For creating YouTube music videos for kids, consider the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM Lens, Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR, and Sony E 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS lenses. These lenses offer image stabilization, smooth autofocus, and a versatile focal length range for wide shots and modest zooms. The 18-55mm lenses are affordable and widely available, while the Sony 16-50mm is suitable for APS-C format Sony mirrorless cameras. When choosing a lens, consider camera mount compatibility, image stabilization, and focal length range.

Let's be clear about this. The original poster identified "self" as a BEGINNER and did not even know s/he would need a lens. Naming the Canon and Nikon lenses in this case will probably just cause confusion, since neither will work on a Sony without buying some kind of adapter.

The ONLY lens listed here that will work is the Sony E 16-50 f/3.5-5.6 OSS. If I assume that "izzero" has a cell phone that can also be used, then it's not so bad. What you might plan is to use the cellphone for some (maybe a lot) of the video work and start building out the camera to do specific things that your cellphone cannot do, or to do it significantly better than the cellphone will do. You could, for example buy a Sigma single focal length lens. I think they make a 56mm F1.4 lens, don't they? That would give you excellent low light (evenings, mainly outdoors) usage.

It looks an AI generated answer. Bot maybe?

Except for the the Sony lens, the necessary adapters put the other lenses outside the OPs stated budget.

This is the bloated fluff you get when you ask the AI bot :-(
