Looking for Photography Assistant in Singapore!

I’m working with a company called Rocket Internet, which is building the biggest online fashion retail business in Singapore. We are looking for full-time/part-time photography assistant who can provide support for the successful execution of Studio Photography workflows.
This is going to be an amazing opportunity since you get to experience and observe a professional photographer at work and have selection and filtering control of photographs from the shoot. This will be a long-term collaboration and would prefer recent graduates with the ability to commit. This role is suitable for candidates with some experience in photography lighting or an individual with a keen interest in fashion and a critical eye for detail.

Here are some of the responsibilities and requirements for the role.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in cataloguing of all slides and event photos and naming of images
• Assistants will be expected to catalogue and optimize digital files, manipulate, enhance and select scanned or digital images using computers and specialized software.
• Provide support for the successful execution of Studio Photography workflows.
• Support professional photographer with other ad hoc activities

Requirements:

• 0.5 year experience in fashion preferred but not required
• Be creative, with a critical eye for pictures and images
• Excellent communication skills
• Accustomed to the intensity of the studio environment, and unshrinking under deadline pressure
• Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, Capture One proficiency, Mac OS proficiency, familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Bridge. (Preferred)
