Going through the threads from today I noticed I was shooting the same birds as several other people... These are all with the Tamron...

1 Mockingbird for SCraig...

2 Titmouse for HL45 - He was much closer

3 I normally don't do birds on a feeder, but I liked this Nuthatch shot...

4 Grackle, these guys are everywhere but really elusive for some reason. This one took a long time to get...

CC, great shots as usual. I like the Grackle best of all.

I don't usually like wildlife shots but i really enjoyed number three!

As usual you have some beautiful shots here Kris! I think that the detail in all of these is amazing!
I'm ready to throw out the Sigma and find me a Tammy!

I was shooting on a tripod for these with the exception of the mockingbird. But the mockingbird is probably one of my sharpest shots and it was at 1/200th HH. The Nuthatch is pretty amazing too, I was on a tripod but it was only 1/40th sec. The grackle was actually at ISO 1600 which is pushing it for D300... Don't through out the Tammy yet, you have gotten some really sharp shots with it... It's really hard judging your own shots, I always think other peoples shots are sharper than mine...
