Some aew A grade, some are Bee grade.
OOOHHH Nice response. :)

I know I cropped some a bit tight and need to clarify a few of them but overall I am very pleased with this batch.

Still looking for a European Hornet.

Beautiful, bees are one of my favourite things to photograph...when they keep still for me anyway

One got after my wife last year….. and you probably don’t want one getting after you. She had massive stings that took weeks to go away, from just one. It was still coming after her as I stomped it to death. It didn’t give up until it was dead. We sent images of it’s dead body to the Ministry of Natural Resouces as we’d never seen a hornet that big before. They confirmend it was a German variety.

I have seen 2 European Hornets in the nature reserve I frequent but never managed to get a pic of them.

European Hornets are very orange compared to the much bigger and more aggressive Asian Giant Hornet which is more black. If I ever get close enough to get a pic of one it will be a pray / spray / run scenario.

I could fill up the forum with bee pics.

I found out that Pre Capture on a Z8 does not work well with a macro lens and a very busy background.

Maybe a new stategy.......
