Hi, i was just wondering, what aperture and shutterspeed settings should i aim for under lowlight conditions? what about for black and white photography? thanks! im using film by the way.

There is no right answer... The short and quick answer is whatever will get you the proper exposure for the light.

Shutter speed - if you are hand-holding the camera then there is a general rule ... 1/(focal length).

Aperture - depends of the DoF you want.
