Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Had a clear night out at the lake and so got my first decent shot of the Milky Way. I imported to Lightroom 5 and applied some pretty heavy noise reduction (30 seconds at iso 3200). Then, as usual, I selected to 'edit in Photoshop Elements' (Elements 11) to do a couple other things. When it migrated over, the noise reduction seemed to be undone and left behind.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is there a better way to handle the move?

Thanks.

Have you got any Nik software or filters in PSE?

If so try unistalling the Nik software, restart and see if it works.

I usually do all edits first and the last item is noise reduction.

Nope, no Nik software.

My understanding is you cut the noise before you do your stacking. But then again this is my first go at it....

I don't use either software but have you tried exporting the photo from Lightroom so the changes stored on the layer are included in the photo file, then load the photo into the other product. Since LR is noninvasive you have to tell it to include the changes when exporting.
