LR4 Wont Upload D610 RAW Files

I have tried everything, I googled it, checked on here, and downloaded plugins and updates from adobe. I have downloaded LR version 5.1 I believe and the latest camera raw update does anyone know what I am missing? Any help my fellow TPF-ers

You need Lightroom 5.3 to handle D610 files

I was mistaken, I had actually downloaded 5.8 and 8.3 and still nothing! Do I have to own LR5 to use version 5.3??

I have no idea, sorry. I don't use LightRoom myself just had a bookmark to that link and looked up the required version.

Yes, you need a valid use license key to update LR 5.
You cannot update the trial version or pirated copies.

Note that Photoshop CC Camera Raw, LR 5, and Elements Camera Raw 12 all use ACR 8 .

So LR 5.3 and Camera Raw 8.3 are the same update.

You can use Adobe's free DNG converter to convert the D610 files from NEF to DNG and then you can edit them in LR 4.

Not as NEF files, only as DNG files. There are no 5.x updates for LR 4.
Like most other software maker products, older software release levels don't get updates.
