Thanks! I tried it with the sun facing her, but she is so white I always have a hard time taking pictures of her with the right exposure. I just loved the colors on this one. Any tips?

try to shoot next to a window that is not directly facing the sun. It will be a nice soft light. If you need to you can hand a bedsheet or a shower curtain over the window to diffuse the light also.

i think the framing could have been a bit better since it feels like the dog is cramped within the frame. perhaps a landscape picture will be better so take you can capture his whole body posture as he's laying around. try to put some blinds on the windows to diffuse the light since it's a bit too harsh right now.
