Lupine of Palouse

I had to share one more of this amazing sunset from Steptoe Butte State Park in WA. These lupine were flopping in the wind like they were at some sort of flower headbanger concert.

amazing composition . i think there is a diffraction in the pic

Majeed, very nice. My only comment is that I might have tried to lighten up the foreground a bit, maybe by trying a digital grad filter, or using a 1 or 2 stop grad during capture.

Majeed....one day I might just want to attend one of your workshops when we go to WA. Your photographs are all amazing. It shows your patience for details. With this one above you capture the backlights nicely...and your compositions are always spot-on. Nice work.

Hmm, not diffraction. There were areas where the focus stacking was impossible, so there are some less than perfectly sharp areas.

Thanks WG. I wonder what that would look like? Right now, i kept it dark so the backlit highlights on the lupine were the point of focus.
