why are you selling it?

Yes, but I have 7gb of RAM in mine and 750gb of HDD. And a better video card.

What do you think would be a fair price to ask then?

I wouldn't say you're too far off. Maybe knock a couple hundred off.. I wouldn't go too far down though, that sure is a beast of a computer.

Not a bad price really since it is not a refurb and is working fine. I have to wait till March for any big purchases.

I'm selling it because I got a 2.4GHz 17" MacBook Pro a little while back, last summer actually, and it handles all the RAW photo processing that I had the Mac Pro for and I can take it places and stuff. I was using the MBP 99.5% of the time, so I figured, why not sell the Mac Pro before its value decreases even further? So, I'm selling it.

thats a hell of good offer, unfortunately I'm not in the market for a new rig atm, i'm content with my MacBook as well.

His machine is far superior to this, and plus its not a refurb, which goes a long way too. Besides, add those up and you still come to 2,700 bucks, and thats for a gig of ram, tiny hard drive, and crappy vid card.

Trenton, I think you have come down way too far in your asking price.

Yeah, maybe you're right. Maybe I'll just try and find someone somewhere else that'll give me the $3500 I want for it, or maybe even $3300 or something if that's the best I can get. It's a damn hard machine to sell.
