Hey everyone,
I did a lot of experiments with dissolving candy and took umpteen thousands of images:
Using candy, sony a6300, the Laowa 24mm F14 probe lens and Sony 90mm F2.8 GOSS macro lens, I dissolved several different sorts of M&M's. The ones with peanut inside delivered the most satisfying results: The sugar layer is thicker which looks like the niagara falls in the macro perspective.
As a setup I used a small fish tank, cold water, a dark background, a bright ring light and for some shots the front light of the laowa probe lens. To get the best quality I would recommend to use a fish tank which shows to distortion and film from the side, otherwise the refraction of light will ruin the image (4K looks like 720p).

You must really be having a lot of fun with your new lens, there's so much to choose from and I like them just about equally well but if I had to pick it would probably be #4, the melting ice was cool. If I had my way I would've rather had them melting in my mouth. :drool2:
