The first one looks hmmm.... good... :P... but the last one is damn scary.. =)

Great shots. I love the first one. What are you using for lighting?

Those are entirely creepy! That first really good! I LOVE the colors of DOF.

Just using a 430ex for lighting :)

If you're shooting macro, a good flash setup is pretty much essential I think. I really need to diffuse my flash a little though. Lighting looks pretty harsh.

At some stage I think I'll get a 580ex, put both flashes diffused on brackets next to the lens, especially when I get a MPE-65 .

When I use the 430 I use a Lumiquest Softbox. Works very well. I recently picked up a MR-14. I've not been able to play with it as much as I like due to the weather.

That's a serious setup to move through the bushes. The 580 is a lot bigger than the 430. No interest in the MR14 or MT-24?

Well I'm going to get a 580 for my other work anyway, so I'll try it that way first.

After getting the MPE-65 I'll probably look at getting a MT-24 for it, if the 580/430 combo doesn't work out.

These scare the cr4p out of me!

Great macros though, especially like the first one. A diffused flash would have been nice, but it's still a great capture. Thumbs up.

Great shots, if you want to diffuse the light without spending money just put some white cloth over your flash head, the weave in the fabric will diffuse your flash or make a homemade softbox, I made one a few years ago for nothing with things lying around and the end result was no different than a pro softbox which costs a lot more.

These are excellent macro shots and well captured.
