Macro flower CC

I used an 18-55mm lens with a 35mm extension tube to take this shot. What do you guys think?

It looks great. Especially for an 18-55mm!
I think focusing on a few different planes and using stack focusing would have work great here (if the flower was not moving at all, of course).

Thanks! I used the 18-55mm so I could get a little farther out, my 35mm wouldn't cut it. I don't know how to stack them

Agreed.....macro photography is often a wrestling match with your DOF.....if you're on a tripod it's easy to take as many frames as you need with varying focus points and merge them into a single image that has everything you want in focus.

But really nice photo.

There are some software tweaks that I think can improve it.

I've done a mild crop, edited a couple of the spots out, and using CS5's HDR tone options I brought the shadows up and gave it a little vibrance.
