Macro of body parts, anyone tried? Artistic macro pictures

I use a Konica Minolta A2, and just purchased the Konica Minolta 1200 ring light/flash with the necessary "controller", and a Gitzo tripod w/a Bogen ball head.

I'd like to take interesting and artistic photographs of close ups of parts of the body. They can be mysterious, i.e. you don't immediately know what you're looking at, or, more obvious.

I don't have experienc yet. But I wanted to agree with you. I'm interested in super macro's of the body. My first shot will have to be a pore, a nice big one! lol

Do you have ideas on lenses and lighting yet, or is that the sort of thing you are requesting?
