TPF Noob!
I had lunch with a friend today that collects collectable trains and then auctions them off. Quite a lot of money in this I guess. Anyways he is trying to make a setup that will allow him to take shots of the N scale trains.
He is fighting with the usual apetrue / DOF issues, but is having problems with lighting. The backdrop is white and on a standard table. (Not a light table).
He was thinking a light to the sides and one directly in from with diffuseres but won't this make the image flat????
What are your thoughts? I must admit this is not in a great area of knowledge for me to help out.
He has a coolpix 5700 if that helps.
Thanks :!: :!:
