I believe that if one posts an image for C&C (specifically beginners), that they should be strongly encouraged to post the EXIF data.
It would make it very easy for those critiquing.

To many of the people posting for C&C have no clue what EXIF data is, or how to find it.

A lot of the people giving useful C&C know how to get the EXIF info for themselves, and don't have to rely on the member asking for the C&C.

But for the sake of argument, what do you suggest should be done if someone requests C&C, but doesn't also include EXIF data?

Yeah, no way. :)

I've been meaning to start stripping mine, actually. I'm sure other some other posters would have issue with it being mandatory.

You can certainly refuse to C&C when these details are omitted.

Yep! Just don't participate if there is no EXIF data.

Why would you strip the C&C data?

You can't get EXIF data on an image if it's stripped like manaheim said. You can easily educate people to post the EXIF data, just like how to post an image via flickr.

1 photo per thread will cause a chaotic amount of single threads by the same user. Blech! Horrid idea!

Three is the magic number. If you can't critique three, then just don't freaking bother!

This I agree with, but why the anti-exif campaign?

You sorta started a pro-EXIF campaign... but we're on an anti-EXIF one?

This is ... odd.

Other forums require it, and I don't post on other forums. Largely because I can't be bothered.
Sure EXIF is helpful for troubleshooting blur and exposure, but other than that?

I set Flickr to not show my EXIF as well.

What's odd is that you concentrated on the term I used vs just answering the question. Why is everyone against Exif data?
