Making slide show help

I have a LOT of pics that I need to make into a slide show for my girls' xcountry team...I used PSE4 for the football one but it took FOREVER!!! Is there a way to speed it up or is there another program that will do it faster? I have PSCS2, Paintshop X, and Microsoft Professional. Any help will be great!

I use "Roxio Easy Media Creator 7" for CD, VCD, SVCD, and DVD slide shows...

I've been using PhotoVidShow for a while. http://www.photo-dvd-slideshow.co.uk, took about 2.5 hours to do a 500+ slides (around 2 hours t of video playback) of photos and videos. (That was doing a DVD). Think it's only on PC though. :lmao:

My favorite is Wondershare DVD SlideShow Builder. It works perfect for me!
