Manfrotto 190XPROB Pro Tripod

New to a lot of thia but which head would you recommend with the Manfrotto 190XPROB Pro Tripod- i'm told its good and has a TIPA award...

3 way pan (precise) versus ball head (quick). Only you can decide as it is a personal preference.

what do you shoot? what is the heaviest camera+lens that will be placed on it?

For most, a ball head is very popular... especially pistol grip style.
