I don't know how many of you have heard of the Manzanar Relocation Center? I drive by it on my way to take a lot of my landscape shots. It's only about 85 miles away.
Here's a brief intro:
This is some type of ornament placed on the fence as a symbol of respect. They are origami type necklaces, I think? The wind was blowing real hard, made it hard to catch.

Manzanar War Relocation Center was one of ten camps at which Japanese American citizens and resident Japanese aliens were interned during World War II. Located at the foot of the imposing Sierra Nevada in eastern California's Owens Valley, Manzanar has been identified as the best preserved of these camps.
