Took this shot at Artscape 2012 in Baltimore, MD. It's a huge outdoor art festival, and as such there are plenty of photo opportunities (people, art, etc). Anyway, this was probably my personal favorite from the day and I wonder what everyone here thinks about it.
I'd like an overall critique, but specifically is there enough contrast to make the B&W 'pop', if you catch my drift? Also is the composition right? Does the horizontal beam being in the center take away from the shot (i.e. should it be in the lower/higher third)?
EXIF:
Camera Sony DSLR-A700
Exposure 0.006 sec (1/160)
Aperture f/8.0
Focal Length 50 mm
ISO Speed 400
Exposure Bias 0 EV
Flash Off, Did not fire
Your opinions are appreciated, and anyone may feel free to edit for purposes of demonstrating your point. Thanks!
