Marbled Godwit

I spotted this guy in the early morning light at Ft. De Soto yesterday. I goofed a bit while experimenting with TV mode, leaving the shots too soft. I think I accidentally turned the wheel and decreased the s.s. Better shots next time, those should've been at at least 1/1250 rather than 1/640.

f/7.1, 1/640 sec, ISO800, +1 step, 450mm.

They might not be as sharp as you would like but they are still quite good.

Nice shots and great light! Slightly soft, but you can argue it matches the golden light

Motion blur and focus are the real show stoppers. Everything else we can cheat to some degree.

Thanks, Mitch. Agreed. Whenever there are waves in the bg I always try to get them in decent focus, along with the subject of course.
