went for a walk up Mount Tamalpias in Marin (just north of San Francisco)

Beautiful shots! It really makes me miss the bay.

Only wish you had had a smaller aperture in the first one, say f22, with a longer exposure time, so that we could see the waterfall fuller.

Were this handheld? That would have made it quite impossible though.

Looks like spring has already sprung in California: I can see new leaves on the trees! Lovely sight. I just love, love, love the sight of young leaves! Hence I like the waterfall photo best, and I find you captured the motion of the falling water nicely, I wouldn't want to see it any more foggy.
The sunsets are nice, too, but nothing can beat the greens of the moss and the young leaves!!!

yes they were all hand held, and getting back to the trail on the waterfall was a little tricky...as in it required help from other people
(the trail goes over the top of the waterfall)
and no, spring really hasnt sprung here yet, its just been raining for about 3 weeks so everything is turning green. Come april and may and the rain stops, the flowers start to bloom and then we really will have spring.
