We had the event on Saturday so I happened to be there doing some candids.

12.I have no idea who this Yo Jo character is but this guy was hillarious! Tey also had cookie monster and elmo plus a ton of other ones. But this one just amused me.

This is a nice series, and I really like your very selective focus - was all that done in camera? Makes your subjects really stand out!

Not a fan of fake blur.

Glad that you captured some snapshots to remember the event. If you intend to dabble in photojournalism, it's best to tie in the subject matter. For example, kids and Marines in the same photo, or something similar. Otherwise, without reading the title, I wouldn't have known what this was.

Thanx. Most of it was done through lens. During pp I mostly added contrast to the images and the obvious be conversions for some. I added slight blur during pp for a few of them from one of the filters I have. Most of the blur done through in camera as I used the 70-200 2.8 on them. 2, 3 and 5 were some additional blur added the rest are from in camera.

This is my first time trying to really go out to an event and try this. I've tried it couple times as I was out to the beach but that didn't really work out. This is a start. Going to practice more from time to time
