Actually they call it a street festival. Some others call it a street parlement session of the Swedish Invisible Party, which has no organization, not even formal memebership. Yet various youth actions have been called up via blogs and mobile phones to start a new type of class struggle...

This is what I witnessed on the street of Stockholm today. Rather a festive mood all around. Naturally things can go different ways while you are young.

j/k

Great series of photos!
I loved looking through them!

They weren't by chance protesting deporting illeagal immigrants from Mexico in the U.S. were theye? Lol j/k. Just so happens we had a protest here today as well...They all walked of their jobs here in texas....businesses shut down and all.

Great shots. Makes me wonder what it was all about.

i like most of these b/c it brings the viewer right-in amongst what's happening. good color and POV.

Basically it's a youth anarchist movement. Have you heard about the youth protests against certain labor law in France lately? One motivation in this street gathering was to show solidarity.

Sorry, it's in Swedish, but you can use BabelFish to translate.
