Well I haven't posted a moon shot since last November. Here is tonights moon.........

what equipment did you use? it looks really pixelated

I use a Canon S2 with a 12x Optical zoom. I cropped this one so it would show more detail. Maybe its too much crop and thats what your seeing.

could be, is that the S2 IS? i was looking at that camera for a while when i was in the market for a digicam a while back, but decided on the sony H1, then i bought my alpha not too long ago.

Yes it is the S2 IS. I love this camera but I am looking into getting a DSLR. I am working on my husband to buy me one for my Birthday next month... I have the ISO set at 100.

hm... maybe you just went a bit past the camera/zoom's limits by cropping like that, from what i can remember, i was never able to get REALLY good shots of the moon with my H1, and its got pretty much the same specs as your s2
