shot with Leica M4-P 28mmF2 Ultron on 20 years out of date Tmax 100 and developed in Ilfosol3

I think you need to stop using this old,outdated film. A lot of your recent B&W looks like mush...and these suffer from the mush look. I mean, hey, I've shot HP-4,Hp-5,Tri-X, Pan-X,Plus-X,TMax 100, TMax 400, and developed in TMax Developer, Acufine, Diafine, D-76, Microdol-X, D76 1 to 1; HC-110, and was a newspaper darkroom tech souping 16 to 20 rolls nightly...your B&W work over the past couple of years has started to look like...mush...I mean, somebody's got to tell you the truth. TMax film also typically looks like rubbish when developed in off-list developers...it has low emulsion speed, crappy shadow detail, and looks like rubbish when developed in a whole host of conventional developers. The shadows all look mingled, with no differentiation. Outdated, specialty T-grain film and inappropriate conventional developer = a bad,bad match.

Film that went out of date back during the Margaret Thatcher era ought to be...thrown out.

The last image is sort of interesting. There's this great tension between the big man with a big horn in the foreground and the two sections of the background. One side is very busy, but it juxtaposes almost humorously with the little slice on the opposite side where a few people stand in the distance and watch.

It is good for HP5, this film was free so does not cost me to play with different developers

For HP5 ? The grain must be of the size of Vulcan cannon bullets. I would rather go with Tmax Dev. 1+49.

Looks good.
Looks like I am doing something wrong, or American version of Ilfosol 3 is not so good. I went thru 2 bottles of it in all kinds of combinations always getting unsatisfactory results when comes to grain and contrast. Hm...

Ilfosol is fantastic as a rat poison!!! And it's not too bad for spreading on icy sidewalks and driveways. And it's decent, although not as good as kitty litter, for soaking up motor oil drops from leaky engines parked in garages and such.

Ilfosol3 and S are still in production Ilford make lots of different developers, they are also making a new film for Freestyle own brand film so some of their own brand developers could be Ilford
Rollie 400 film is Ilford and i think the Retro is

OK I see, maybe S was only discontinued for American market. I see it on Ilford website, I see also 3, but no any other Ilfosol. So, which one are you using ?
On the other hand good, that Ilford broke own word and is selling it;s film under different brands. That will help to survive and dominate the market eventually.
