Drenching wet so no gardening, off I went to walk in the park and this morning I saw lots of flowers both wild and planted. Oly Pen E-PL9 w/14-42mm

Yes, monarda and baptisia -- I have both in my garden. And amsonnia, I assume all planted by the park staff, as all are native to this region. Forest Park in St. Louis has undergone an extraordinary transformation over the course of 3 to 4 decades. A non-profit was created called Forest Park Forever and they have been the driving force behind the park's re-birth. My reaction; thunderous applause! This morning I walked through the Anne O’C. Albrecht Nature Playscape -- delightful.
