But how can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?

Not sure what you got, but I got the pudding ;-p

Anyway, thanks for all the replies so far, even though not everyone keeps track of the exact g/oz ;)

I have one son who is vegan--no meat or any animal product at all. My other son says he feels obligated to eat TWICE as much meat in order to restore balance to the world. :lmao:
He also made a resolution one year to eat his weight in bacon. He almost did it...
When trying to eat one's weight in bacon, one will double one's weight, therefore rendering the attempt useless...

But if you eat your weight in celerey, you'll actually lose weight.

Granted, it's not nearly as tasty or as fun as bacon which, as we all know, is the candy of all meats...

My reasons are purely ecological as I oppose the meat industry which destroys this world at increasing pace.

But I do not want to make this thread an eco debate.

Kudos on making it an eco debate right before you state that you don't want to make it an eco debate...

This was just a reminder that I do not want any fighting in this thread :-P

That's like saying "I'm not racist, but..." lol

But anyways; I eat quite a lot. There's not really a day that I don't eat some form of meat whether it's ground beef, chicken, or fish...but I don't eat just a whole lot of seafood anyways, so it's mostly beef and chicken lol.

If I die from meat cancer then at least I can say that I didn't die deprived. Haha.

I've never tried to track it, but I'd say my meat consumption is likely rather high. I would be perfectly happy on a 100% carnivorous diet, lol.

Animals are tasty, lol.

I disagree! I am losing weight very quickly at the rate of 3-4 pounds a week by eating nothing but lean meats, fresh veggies, eggs and cheese. A few berries, also, if I get a sweets craving. Bacon is a huge part of my diet - I wrap chicken in it, chop it up and add it to cabbage or most other veggies, add it to salads....

Everything is better with bacon.

I usually consume at least one meal a day with some kind of animal protein with it. Rarely is the fat content high, bacon being the exception. But here's the kicker, portion size. Most Yanks don't. After living in Europe for a number of years, I have carried on the practice since moving back to the USA. My diet consists mostly of poultry, fish and pork, but red meat is somewhat limited.

Be careful, that's how it starts. A hamburger with friends, a kabob with neighbors, next thing you know you are sneaking jerky before work and can only function after a porterhouse.

A year later, you'll be a squatter in an abandoned meat processing plant. Fiending for your next fix of steak tartare.
