Almost looks like it's on fire, particularly with that lightening bolt off in the distance.

thanks guys. THe glow around the clouds is from the lightning as well. I tried for awhile to get a strike and only got this one. Mostly it was just flashes behind the clouds. I really wanted a big one and after about 30 minutes trying I took the camera off the tripod and suddenly there was a huge bolt. Murphys law
This is actually a pseudo HDR. I have 7 shot bracket for this but everytime I ran it through photomatix it would kill the bolt in the background.
