This morning I was ironing my shirts, when I grabbed the iron from the wrong side once .. burning the tips of my fingers! bugger!

actually i was staring at the shirt in concentration while doing it ... so i did not see which way the iron was oriented ... almost did it a second time 5 minutes later!! guess not a good day for ironing

One of my two here (ok, the older just phoned from Chicago, letting me know he's on his way from the airport to Naperville) cuts open most of his left thumb with a sharp knife yesterday. Now you grab the iron the wrong way round ... what else will happen? Maybe even while you'll all be here for the meet-up (and you are mostly men at the meet-up!)?!?!?!

That's a lie. I now take them to the launderers. They wash and iron them. It's only because I'm a crappy ironer.
