Photos NOT OK to edit
I am not a very sentimental person, or maybe I am, but every year on Memorial Day I go to the the Vietnam War Memorial and look at the spot where my college friend's name is inscribed on block 24 West. He was an intelligent, handsome guy who went on from our college to Harvard Medical School and did training at a flagship medical center in Boston. He was 3 months younger than me and died just about about exactly one year after I left Vietnam.

This is not him but it may as well have been.

Good one, Lew. Very touching. Given the time period in which the war was fought, the gray hair and the older hands really add poignancy to this photo.
