I like this shot; I like how we can still see his eyes (and expression) despite the shadow from his hat. Nicely caught!

Strictly caught him unawares. I do posed shots in some aspects of this series, but for the most part it is people who are at work, caught in their natural environment.

Just a tad too dark for my taste, but I love the shot!

Agree that the original is too dark and not enough contrast. Not so sure I am crazy about the composition, maybe too much space above his head not enough toward the legs, maybe a tigher shot in on his face? Just brainstorming. Love the mood though.
